The Model III sound unit will cover up to 60 acres and operates on 12 DC voltage. It is designed with seven speakers facing in four directions and pole mounted to be in the center of area to be treated. All the electronics and speakers are weather-sealed and self-contained in the cases. It has a photocell to automatically turn on at sunrise and off at sunset, and a photocell by-pass switch. For larger fields multiples of these sound units are used.
